Applicant must submit the following documents (an original and a copy):
1. Passport valid for at least six (6) months
Every previous passport
2. Current 4 x 4 cm photograph, facing the camera, printed in colour, on a white background.
3. Visa application form filled out (computer typed)
4. Proof of income:
- Letter from employer specifying commercial registration number and informing the period of work in the company, the title, approximate level of salary, purpose of the trip and your allowed vacation days. A contact person is required for verification (land phone number or e-mail address).
- Latest six statements for a personal bank account certified by the bank, in original. The monthly salaries should appear in this statement and a bank officer's contact information is required for verification (land line number or e-mail address).
5. Round trip reservation (DO NOT purchase tickets before obtaining the visa).
6. Hotel reservation under the applicant´s name, or invitation latter following the below indications.
7. Payment of consular fee: the equivalent in Egyptian Pounds of USD 150, according to the exchange rate of the date.
In case the applicant submits an invitation letter, the invitation will only replace the accommodation booking, and must be issued according to the below specification:

The Embassy reserves its right to request additional documentation to support the visa request.
Once all the documents in place, an appointment for a consular interview will be set.
Applicants under the age of 18 will need the authorization of both parents in order to process the visa. This authorization should be personally signed at the Embassy before the Consular authorities, regardless of whether parents are or are not travelling along.

The authorized stay period for this type of visa is a maximum of 90 (ninety) days.
