Family Reunification Visa

This type of visa is available for the foreign spouse, children (under the age of 18 or older, if she/he has a disability) or parent of an Argentinian citizen, or of a foreign person with permanent residence in Argentina.

The Argentinian family is suggested to start the process of the entry permit for the egyptian family member before the National Directorate of Migrations (DNM - Dirección Nacional de Migraciones) in Argentina.

Besides the entry permit (when applicable), applicants must submit the following documents (original and copy):

  1. Passport valid for at least six (6) months at the time of entering Argentina, with at least two (2) blank pages.
    Every previous passport.
  2. Two (2) current 4 x 4 cm photographs, facing the camera, printed in colour, on a white background.

  3. Visa application form filled out in electronic format. The application must be signed by the applicant at the consular office.

  4. Proof of residence within the jurisdiction of the Consulate.

  5. Certificate of vital record, depending on the relevant relationship (birth certificate for children and parents / marriage certificate in the case of spouses). If the document was not issued by Argentina, it must be translated into Spanish and legalized. 

  6. Family Registry in case of reunification with a spouse, legalized and translated into Spanish.

  7. Certified copy of the National Identity Card (DNI) of the relative who is a national or a permanent resident of Argentina. 

  8. Certificate of address of the relative who is a national or a permanent resident of Argentina. 

  9. In the case of travellers aged 16 or older, an apostilled or legalized certificate of good conduct issued by the competent authority of the countries where they resided for more than one year over the previous three years, translated into Spanish language.

  10. In the case of travellers aged 16 or older, Commitment to tell the truth or Sworn affidavit of their lack of a criminal record in other countries, provided by the Embassy and signed before the consul.

  11. If the traveller is a minor, authorization by both parents / legal tutor in order to apply for the visa.
  12. Payment of consular fee: USD 150. The fee must be paid in the local currency.

  13. Consular interview.

  14. If the visa is granted, payment of Migration Fee of USD 600. The fee must be paid in the local currency. (NOT applicable in case of Entry Pemit processed by the National Directorate of Immigration).

  15. If the visa is granted, payment of Migratory File, USD 100. The fee must be paid in the local currency.

Please note that Consular authorities may require supplementary or additional documents when deemed necessary.
